Uplifting Quote
Hi! How are you guys doing?
Last Tuesday, K, A and I went hiking on Gunung Padang right after teaching at school. It was so random and exciting! Plus, the mountain wasn't that challenging too so we were a lot more relaxed and literally had fun taking pictures, having lunch while chitchatting. So, here a picture from the top.
Ok done with that, now the real content. I supposed to be posting some stuff last few weeks but a lot of things came up and I had to put them on priority list because blog could wait? Anyways, today's entry gonna be super short because I just want to share my all-time uplifting quote by Ibn Qayyim.
I really love this quote because it gives me sort of "hey, chill dude" vibes because I tend to feel overwhelmed real quickly, even about small matters.
So, in case you feel overwhelmed because you are 'swamp' with load of issues, expectations, all the datelines and preparations or anything, which literally makes you feel anxious, tired or burden, I hope this quote would lift you up as much as it always does for me.
On some occasions, whenever my baby cousin feel stressed out due to her unfinished assignments and homeworks, I always tell her "one step at a time, hun", and it kinda works (?) hahahaha I don't know the actual results for that advice, but for me, it works for mosttttt of the time. At least it prevents me from procrastinate so yeaaaaaaa, give it a try ;)
If it does not, uhm I pray God will give you a way out quickly hehehe ;)
Anyways, don't give up, peeps!
Sending prayers,
cah.

"Do not carry the worries of this life because this is for Allah swt. And do not carry the worries of sustenance in life because it is from Allah swt. And do not carry the anxiety of the future, because it is in the Hands of Allah swt. Carry one thing, and one thing only - which is how to please Allah swt. Because if you pleases Him, He pleases you, fulfils you and enriches you." - Ibn Qayyim
